Shelby & Tyler’s Vintage Romantic Jewel-Toned Wedding at Bella Sala
Love can happen in the most unexpected ways, and for Shelby and Tyler, it all started with a strange request to try on Tyler’s shoe during a pre-game party for a Patriots playoff game in 2017. Despite the awkward & funny moment, the two exchanged numbers and continued to text throughout the weekend. Fast forward a few years later, and the couple tied the knot in a beautiful wedding ceremony at Bella Sala.
Their perfect autumn wedding day was filled with stunning yellow and orange foliage, lots of love and the best company. Shelby and her girls started their day in the incredible getting ready suite at Bella Sala, wearing matching ruby and blush robes. Shelby’s bouquet featured blush pink and red roses, and her pear-cut diamond ring was perfectly complemented by jewel-studded pointed-toe ribbon heels. Tyler wore a suit from The Bridal Shop, and the bridal party wore dresses from Revelry.
The day wouldn’t have been complete without their dogs, so the newlyweds made sure there was time in their day to snuggle with their adorable mini golden-doodles, Bentley and Aston. It made for the cutest photos!
The outdoor ceremony was so beautiful, with a large floral altar installation as the backdrop for their vows. The altar had cobalt fabric draped behind a billowy arch of overflowing greenery, blush and red roses, and pampas grass accents. The vintage romantic decor theme was evident throughout the day, with jewel tones of emerald, cobalt, and ruby creating a breathtaking color palette.
The reception was decorated with vintage furniture rentals from Borrow My Vintage and giant "LOVE" marquee letters from Alpha Lit Iowa made the dance floor look amazing (and gave us a great photo op!) Guests enjoyed dinner and an evening filled with delicious cupcakes and glazed donuts, drinks, and dancing.
It’s clear that Shelby and Tyler’s love for each other is strong, and it was evident throughout their wedding day. From their unique and endearing love story to the stunning ceremony and reception, their wedding day was truly a lovely celebration of their relationship and future together.
