Liz & Jake’s Rustic Pacific Northwest Wedding at Tin Roof Barn in White Salmon, Washington
Jake and Liz met in college, through their mutual involvement in the Ultimate Frisbee teams at the University of Iowa. Despite an initial rocky start, they eventually became good friends and their friendship eventually turned into romance. After sharing many adventures Jake proposed to Liz on a hike at Secret Beach in the Samuel Boardman Scenic Corridor on the Oregon Coast.
The couple's vision for their wedding was an intimate, earthy celebration with their closest family and friends. They wanted to keep the wedding on the smaller side, with a focus on sharing the beauty of nature with their loved ones. They chose the stunning Tin Roof Barn in White Salmon, Washington for their venue, which perfectly embodied their vision and provided stunning natural views of the Pacific Northwest.
With its woodsy feel and little pink flowers scattered throughout the property, it was the perfect place for Jake and Liz to say "I do". Their sweet husky dogs even made an appearance for the ceremony, and got everyone to laugh with their howls of love. Liz looked breathtaking in her Willowby by Watters dress from a&bé Bridal Shop. The stunning florals, designed by Amelia Clements of Brookside Fields, featured a moody color palette of deep reds and pinks, perfectly complementing the natural vibe of the day.
For dinner, White Pepper Catering provided guests with a farm-to-table experience, sourcing local and sustainable ingredients. The DJ and entertainment, John Ross Music, kept the dance floor packed all night long. Bryan McMullin from NW Film Co captured every moment and emotion of the day perfectly on video.
