Olivia & Ricky’s Colorful Floral November Wedding

Olivia & Ricky had the most picture-perfect fall wedding day at the most gorgeous venue, at Little Lights on the Lane. 🤍 It was 60 degrees and sunny in early November, and the pathway to their ceremony was lined with single stem roses in pastel pinks and soft oranges, and all their best friends and family were there to celebrate.

Also, can we get a little commotion for the bride, please?! 😮‍💨 I just love the unique bridal portraits we did after the ceremony. Bridal portraits that are a little out of the box are truly some of my most favorite things to shoot on wedding days. I saw this single stemmed rose as we were walking out to take solo portraits of Olivia, and gravitated towards using just one flower instead of her bouquet, which we had already taken some with earlier. It added simplicity to the whole photo and the deep blue sky with wispy clouds mimicked her veil perfectly.

This was the BEST wedding to end my season with, and I’m truly so thankful for all of my 2023 GTP couples. We have BIG plans in 2024 for GTP, and I’m so excited to show all of you what’s to come.

ps. I shot a lot of 35mm film on their wedding day, and these nostalgic shots bring me so much joy. Looking at film photos reminds me of pulling out the photo album at photos at your parents house. These are raw moments you can’t re-do, one shot preserved forever with all the memories and feelings. I’m so excited to be offering film as an add on for all of my 2024 and 2025 weddings!
