Michelle & Andres’ Sunrise Engagement Session at Halona Beach Cove in Oahu
I met Michelle and Andres at 6 a.m. on a cliffside on Oahu’s east shore, just outside of Honolulu. Below us, waves crashed against the volcanic rock, and the sun was just starting to rise over the ocean. We hiked down to Halona Beach Cove, a tucked-away little beach surrounded by jagged lava rock and cliffs. The sky was bright blue with puffy clouds, and the golden light stretched across the water.
In the middle of the beach with the ocean behind them, Michelle and Andres looked right at home. Michelle wore a cream satin gown, and Andres kept it simple with khakis, a white short-sleeve button-down, and sandals. As the sun came up, we explored the cove—walking barefoot on the hardened lava rock, watching the waves crash, and soaking in the warm morning light.
Just them, the ocean, and the quiet of sunrise in Hawaii. 🌺🌊
