Lindsey & Riley’s Intimate Wedding in Sedona
I just loved getting to spend the day in Sedona with Lindsey and Riley and 30 of their closest family and friends for the intimate, non-traditional wedding of their dreams. They chose Sedona because Riley proposed in Arizona on a hike - Lindsey said he managed to keep the ring a secret from her for a long time!
At their wedding, Lindsey gave a speech thanking everyone before the dancing started. She talked about giving second chances on first impressions and told the story of how she first met Riley 9 years ago at work. They didn’t have the best first impression of each other - he thought Lindsey was annoying, and she thought Riley was intimidating. But slowly over about 3 years, they kept seeing each other and spending time together and a tiny little flame started to grow and they fell for each other. (They said a bottle of good tequila helped that process along).
Every guest dropped tears, they had a cake made of cheese, and a blanket of stars covered the sky during the reception. It was a perfect day. I’m still dreaming about the terracotta touches and dancing under string lights and the stars. Who’s coming back to Sedona with me? ☺️
