Kenzie & Shane’s Downtown Engagement Session at Surety Hotel

Kenzie & Shane did their engagement session at the BEAUTIFUL Surety Hotel in downtown Des Moines. We just love shooting in this space because there are so many pretty areas to work with in this gorgeous renovated hotel. They popped a bottle of champagne on the patio and then returned to the main lobby to use the sitting area with swanky leather couches and a huge marble fireplace for all the editorial vibes.

They took their bubbly and roamed around the hotel, hitting all the best spots like the brick solarium (a super popular spot for intimate wedding ceremonies), the original wrought iron staircase, and of course a few kisses on the elevator! We are so excited to photograph their wedding next fall at the Prelude!
