Ali & Dylan’s Modern Desert Wedding in Surprise, AZ at The Willow

Ali and Dylan’s black tie wedding at The Willow in Arizona was absolutely stunning. Their engagement session in Laguna Beach was one of my absolute favorite shoots last year, and I knew their wedding was going to be equally special.

Set in the middle of the desert, their day was filled with elegant details that perfectly complemented the black-tie vibe. White roses lined the ceremony and reception spaces, keeping everything clean and timeless. Ali wore a Danielle Frankel Studio dress and Vivienne Westwood earrings that couldn’t have been more perfect for her style. I also loved that she and Dylan wore the same Le Labo fragrance—such a romantic and personal touch.

The desert at The Willow gave us the most incredible backdrops for portraits. The light at sunset was perfect and it felt like a scene straight out of a movie. What made the day truly stand out was how relaxed Ali and Dylan were. They let things flow naturally and enjoyed their time with family and friends instead of worrying about every little detail. It’s something I always love to see on a wedding day—it makes everything feel that much more special when everyone can relax and be present and just enjoy the day.

Every moment of this day was unforgettable.
