Timeless San Francisco City Hall Elopement

I’m so excited to share photos from this incredible styled elopement shoot at San Francisco City Hall. We started the morning at a croissanterie, sharing flaky croissants and warm lattes to kick off the day. It was such a fun way to settle into the shoot and set the tone for everything to come. On the walk to City Hall, the city’s hills and colorful row houses made the perfect backdrop, adding that classic San Francisco charm to the story we were creating.

The grand staircase at San Francisco City Hall is a showstopper, perfect for an elopement, and I’m SO GLAD we got to have this amazing space all to ourselves yesterday morning because it was the shoot of my dreams! The marble and stone details feel classic, and the light streaming through the huge windows makes everything glow. The rotunda gives the space a sense of openness and calm, creating a beautiful spot to exchange vows.

After the ceremony setup, we hopped on the Powell & Hyde Street trolley for a few playful photos that brought so much energy and fun to the shoot. From there, we ended at the pier, where the “newlyweds” shared their wedding cake—a heart-shaped “Just Married” cake—by the water. It was such a perfect detail to wrap up the day and tie everything together.

For The Good Events planned and designed the day with such thought and care—it felt effortless but was so well crafted. The bouquet by Stacie at Earth's Laugh was simple and classic, just white blooms, but it fit the vibe perfectly. And the heart-shaped cake from Dore Cake San Francisco added the sweetest touch, tying everything together with that timeless “Just Married” feel. So thankful for each person who contributed to this shoot and the opportunity to work together, and I can’t wait to be back in the Bay Area again soon!
