Deanna & Grant’s Adventurous Desert Engagement Session in Phoenix

Deanna & Grant met right before the world shut down in 2020. They fell fast and hard for each other, and couldn’t imagine a life without each other, so Grant proposed this past December.

They live in Minnesota, which is a cold and frozen tundra in the winter, so they decided to do their engagement session in Arizona, where Grant grew up so they could escape to the warm sunny desert for a little bit! We met at sunrise and wandered around among the beautiful and humongous saguaros, with stunning rocky bluffs and mountains making the most gorgeous backdrop, especially when the sun hit them and lit them up with a soft golden glow. The pastel pinks and blues of the sky were absolutely breathtaking.

I can’t wait to celebrate with them for their wedding day in the Twin Cities next year! Not to mention, Deanna AND her sister are both photographers, and I’m always SO FREAKING HONORED when other photo creatives want me to capture their big day. 😭 It truly means the world to me!
