Brittany & Ryan’s Bright Minimal Wedding at the Magnolia Room in Dubuque

Ryan and Brittany first met in 2016 at a local bar. They wound up talking the entire night and exchanging numbers and continued to get to know one another. Coincidentally, Brittany had just started substitute teaching at the school where Ryan worked, and they even ended up teaching in the same classroom for most of the semester, giving them more opportunities to talk and get to know each other.

They discovered a shared love for baseball, traveling, and being active, and eventually went on their first official date to watch a Cubs game at Wrigley Field. From there, their relationship blossomed, and they eventually moved to Colorado together to continue their adventure. Years later, Brittany & Ryan returned to Dubuque, Iowa, to celebrate their wedding day at the Magnolia Wedding Event Venue.

The Magnolia Room at the venue was incredibly beautiful, with high ceilings, bright natural light, chandeliers and a glass orb installation on the walls. Ryan and his groomsmen wore suits from Men's Wearhouse, and Brittany looked stunning in her Madison James by Allure dress from Zazou's Bridal Boutique. The bridesmaids wore beautiful Birdy Grey gowns, and everyone’s outfits were perfectly complimented by the stunning florals by Rolling Hills Event Rentals. Brittany's overflowing bouquet of eucalyptus and white roses was especially breathtaking.

The reception was held at the Dubuque County Fairgrounds Grand Ballroom, where guests enjoyed delicious catering from Jeronimo's Bar & Grill and Magoo's Pizza, as well as a beautiful cake from Cunningham Confectionary. The entertainment for the night was provided by the amazing DJ Michelle Mitchell with Romantic Times, who kept the guests dancing and having a great time all night long. Overall, it was a beautiful day filled with love and happiness.
