Brianna & Chris’s Secluded Mokule'ia Army Beach Family Session on O’ahu

Recently I’ve been loving shooting family sessions, the small moments, the kiddos running around, and embracing the season as it is. 🤍

Brianna reached out to me for a family session because she wanted to document her family’s first time in Hawaii. She is also a wedding photographer, and she and her boyfriend and their 3 year old daughter came to visit O’ahu because she was shooting an elopement here at Dillingham Ranch. I always feel so honored when other photographers come visit the islands and ask me to take their photos!

We decided on a sunset shoot at the gorgeous and secluded Mokule'ia Army Beach in Waialua on the north shore of O’ahu. This beach is a hidden gem, and offers the best of both worlds - soft sandy beaches with gorgeous views of the clear blue ocean water and dramatic skies in one direction, and gorgeous and mountainous tropical landscapes in the other direction. We even got lucky and saw a sea turtle wading by on the beach during this session! 🥹
